What Finilist is

Finilist is a task and project app, on the web and on your phone, with a free plan and a Pro subscription. By using it you accept these terms.

Your account

You sign in with a link sent to your email. You are responsible for access to that email address and for what happens in your account. Write to us any time if you think someone else has used it.

Your data stays yours

Everything you write and upload to Finilist belongs to you. You only give us permission to store, sync and display it so the app works. You can download it any time (Settings, “Download your data”) and delete your account any time, with everything in it.

The free plan and Pro

The free plan is free forever, within the limits on the pricing page. Pro costs 3 USD a month or 30 USD a year, VAT included where it applies. You can try Pro for 14 days, once, without a card.

Payment goes through Stripe. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you stop it. You can stop it any time under “Your plan”; Pro stays on until the end of the period already paid.

If a payment fails, Stripe tries again a few times and you keep Pro meanwhile. If it still fails, the account goes back to the free plan. Nothing is deleted: projects over the free limit become read-only until you make room or return to Pro.

We may change the price for future periods; we tell you by email at least 30 days ahead, and the change never affects a period already paid.

Fair use

Do not use Finilist for illegal content, to get around the app's limits or security, or to upload harmful software. We may suspend an account that does this, with an explanation, unless the law forbids us to give one.

Availability and liability

We do everything we can to keep Finilist working and your data safe, and the app keeps a copy of your data on your devices too. Still, the service is provided as is, without a guarantee that it will run without interruption. As far as the law allows, our liability for any damage is limited to what you paid in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer.

Ending

You can leave any time by deleting your account. If we ever close the service, we tell you at least 60 days ahead so you can download your data, and refund the unused part of your subscription.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we tell you by email and in the app before the change takes effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Romanian law. As a consumer in the European Union you also keep the protection of the laws of your country.
